Why doesn't my Apple Watch buzz?

Make sure notifications are enabled for Speechometer in iPhone Settings → Speechometer → Notifications.
Apple Watch only delivers pace alerts when your iPhone screen is off or locked. If your phone is unlocked and in your hand, the alert appears there instead.
Check that your Apple Watch doesn't have an active Focus/Do Not Disturb mode silencing notifications.

Why did the app stop listening partway through?

Make sure microphone and Speech Recognition permissions are enabled in iPhone Settings → Speechometer.
For best results, keep the Speechometer app open (even with the screen locked) for the duration of your session.

Does Speechometer record or store my speech?

No. Audio is processed only to calculate your speaking pace in real time and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
